Sophia Models and Talent has a premier reputation in the Acting and Modelling  industry. Sophia Models and Talent was started by Bill Giofu, who has been in the Modelling and Acting business since 1986. As a model, Bill started his career in Regina, Saskatchewan and relocated to Calgary, Alberta in 1988.
 
He launched his local career in Calgary before moving  into international markets. Bill modelled in Canada, the United States, Europe, and Asia. He has also acted in over 40 television commercials, videos, and film productions, many of which were shot internationally.

In 1996 the office of Mode Models Calgary was opened. As the Agency Director, Bill developed it into the most successful modelling agency in Western Canada.
In 2010 Sophia Models & Talent opened to pursue the development of an agency whose values we believed in.
 
With over 35 years in the industry, and connections in the international, local modelling and talent markets. Bill and his daughter Amber have successfully promoted the highly sought-after Talent of Sophia.
